Punjabi Bhindi

  • Bhindi 250 gm
  • Onion sliced 2 medium
  • Green Chilli 2
  • Red Chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 2 teaspoon
  • Dried mango powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Oil 2 tablespoon


Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and 2 green chilles. Saute for half a minute.

Add 2 medium onions and saute till brown.

Add 250 grams Bhindi and toss to mix.

Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons red chilli powder, 2 teaspoons coriander powder, salt

Add 1 teaspoon amchur. Mix well, lower heat and cook till the vegitable is done.

Serve hot.
