Dashahara is a mass festival celebrated in Odisha. In various Indian states like Odisha, it is celebrated at the same time as Dashera, Navratri and Durga Puja. It was formerly celebrated in Odisha under the name of Ayudha Puja or Astrapuja, followed by the creation of earthen idols from Bengal and Durga Puja or “Navratri” in northern India. On the occasion of Dashahara, various traditional tools and tools such as swords, shields, iron plows, and karni are worshiped on this day.
