Online Tea Delivery at Bhubaneswar – www.ekcup.in is first of its kind online platform in India that specialises in serving just tea. The website, where you can choose from a variety of flavours, provides milk tea, lemon tea, masala tea, green tea and the traditional ‘Matka Chai’ served in terracotta cups.
Their services are available from 10 am to 5 pm and the cup price ranges from Rs.7 to Rs.10. Soon, they will introduce Kashmiri Kahwa (a Kashmiri green tea flavoured with cardamom) and Jasmine tea for its consumers.
Sukalyan Das, a founding member, and two of his friends quit their IT jobs and started the venture in January on an experimental basis. They officially launched Ekcup two months back. “We thought if pizzas can be delivered at the doorstep, why not chai? After all, chai is an integral part of our lives,” said 30-year-old Sukalyan. Currently, they receive around 500 orders a day.
However, one has to place a minimum order of Rs.50 to get home delivery service. They also have a mobile application for Android phones to place orders. People who don’t have access to Internet can place orders through their landline numbers as well.

In the next phase, Sukalyan plans to expand the services to Cuttack in the State besides, Bangalore and New Delhi. “Once we have good logistics support, we will start the services,” he added.
