- Chicken-1/2 kg
- Curd-2 cups
- Butter- 2 tablespn
- Onion- 200 gm
- Green peas(frozen)-1cup
- Oil- 3 table spoon(refined)
- Whole garam masalas-
- Cardamom(green)-4
- Cardamom ( black)-2
- Colves- 4-5
- Sinamon-1(2 inch length)
- Pepper-5 to 6
- Turmeric powder
- Red chilly powder
- Coriender powder-2 table son
- Pepper powder
- Cashew nuts-7
- Cumin seeds-1teaspoon
- Tomato-1 big
- Ginger and garlic paste-4 table spoon
- Kasturi methi leaf
- Salt as per taste
- Edible colour(prefer red one)- pinch
- Lemon juice-1 teaspn
Process of Cooking :
Marinate chicken +curd+ 1 table spoon of ginger& garlic paste+lemon juice+color+pepper powder+oil(1spn)
Leave all aside for 1 hr
In a pan add oil
Add cumin seeds.
When it sparkles the add whole garam masalas and then onion and fry it becomes brown in colour.
Then move it to blender.
Add cashew but in the hot oil…
Just for 3 to 4 sec…then add cut tomato into it.remove oil.add this to the blender..
Make a fine paste.put aside.
Then heat the butter and rest oil.add little amount cumin seeds.then add the blended paste.add all powders mentioned above.and salt.when the whole paste start removing oil…add green peas..add marinated chicken.cook chicken adding 2 cups of water.cook till all done.
Then off the gas..
In another pan add little butter(1 son)
And add kasturi methi leaf with it.when the flavour comes.add this to the main pan where done chicken it set aside.lastly add 1 pinch of pepper powder.
Serve hot ….
