A children’s magazine under the editorship of Birakishor Das launched in 1946. In additions to the stories and
poems it had sections for puzzles, tit bits, question and answer. Varied facts were presented in brief and children’s questions were discussed. It also featured outdoor games for groups of children. On the whole this aimed to be a magazine to help a child’s development. The second phase of the magazine was edited by Ram Prasad Mohanty.
