Started in 1933 from Cuttack and edited by Saratchandra Mukherjee, Pallimangala was the mouthpiece of Odisha Divisional Cooperative Federation. It dealt with the practices and problems of agriculture and commerce in rural Odisha. It also featured articles on medicinal plants,irrigation as well as on social life in the rural areas.
