Oats Upma Healthy Breakfast.

Method :

Dry roast 1 cup rolled oats in a non stick pan for 2 minutes and keep aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in same non stick pan. Add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, few curry leaves, 1 tablespoon split bengal gram, a pinch of asafoetida (hing) and saute.

Add 2-3 slit green chillies, 1 large chopped onion, 1 inch greated ginger piece, 8 – 10 finely chopped medium carrot, salt and saute. Add little water and boil till the vegitables are cooked.

Add Oats and mix well. Redure heat and cook till the Oats done.

Serve Hot….
