e-ticket facilities at Odisha – Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has launched e-ticketing facilities at Sun Temple Konark, Udaygiri and Khandagiri, Rajarani Temple and Ratnagiri and Lalitgiri.
Tickets to these heritage sites can be booked at asi.payumoney.com or asi.nic.in, the onsite facility will remain in operation.
The price of the online ticket remains the same as that of the manual one. The entry fee for Konark temple is Rs 30 for Indians and Rs 750 for foreigners.
The fee at other sites is Rs 15 for Indians, and Rs 300 for tourists from other countries.
The online facility would ensure hassle-free trip for visitors who will be able to skip the long queues, especially on days when the visitor turnout is big.
The Sun Temple in Konark receives around 3000 to 4000 tourists a day in the lean season, while the footfall crosses 6000 in the peak season.

Archaeological Survey of India had recently made a threefold hike in entry fees to these protected sites. A total 78 monuments are protected by the ASI in Odisha.
